the beach and israel v france march 30th

dad had gone home and me and andrew had chilled for a few days (see above, i just realised ive done all this in the wrong order!).

anyway, i worked really hard in the morning and wrote 3 stories for EJP then me and andrew went up to tel aviv and met up with dave and a few of his mates. we had a great barbeque on the beach and then headed off to the footie.

not a bad game in retrospect. there was much more atmosphere, first cos we hate the french and also i think cos people were getting used to thestadium (alot of people had been at the irelandf game a few days before). one man was hated the most though - the french keep fabien barthez had made some comments before coming to israel aabout how he didnt want to come cos of the security situation or something and every time he got the ball the entire stadium booed!

ended 1-1 with another arab walid badir scoring the winning goal.
