sushi

i was never that into sushi, thought it was ok but nothing special. but funnily enough ive been to 2 of the best sushi bars in the country the last few days.

ok, lets backtrack. i know the last few days have been crazy with all this bomb shit. u know as well as i do that the whole thing shocked me much more than i ever thought it would. but now thats part of me and its not my life. its something thats happened thats made me feel an israeli, as does listening to galgalaz every afternoon and paying arnona (if u dont know what they are ask someone!).

i have moved on. i had loads of thoughts and will probably return to it all butat the moment its not on my mind, shouldnt be and i want to keep it that way. as they say in israel אנחנו צריכימ להמשיח החיימ שלנו - weve got to get on with our lives.

so what i never did was talk about the good part of the weekend. and it was great. me and david decided to stay in a hotel in tel aviv on thursday night and luckily friends of mat lipmans fiance ilana - heather and limor - also wanted to cos they were here on holiday so we managed to get a room in the sheraton tel aviv, a quality hotel, for 100 quid, 25 quid each, including breakfast. we went out thursday night and had a great time, but before we went out we ate at the sushi bar in the hotel which was quality. then we spent the day chilling on the beach in tel aviv. i was loving it cos i knew it was snowing in london and it was so hot on the beach. the rest u know!

last night was heathers last night here so we decided to splash out and went to all u can eat sushi in the david citadel hotel, one of the best in jerusalem. it really was gorgeous as u will see from the pics im going to put up. hopefully im going to take andrew there when he comes, dad will already have gone back.

life heres cool. betar have started winning. strangely the 3 games theyve played when i havent gone and watched on tv theyve won and the 3 ive gone to theyve lost!mon wednesday they have a cup game in jerusalem so im going to go. there should be a good atmosphere cos its the first time theyve played at home since they won the last 2 away games.

ive already got the week planned out - going out with a friend tonight, to footie tommorrow then a party and an rnb club on thursday. and on Friday i am making friday night dinner here for the first time since i arrived. heathers friend jordana is coming with a friend and probably 2 others. i just hope the chicken cooks well!

love to everyone.
thank you all for support and for reading my blog, i think ive had about 60 hits since the weekend (only 40 fo them me!).
